What about a photography vacation where you can focus 100% on your photography and where you can learn new things?

What can you expect?
A photography vacation in a small group, so we have plenty of time for personal contact, adapted to everyone’s level and time for rest and relaxation.
You and me decide at the beginning of the week what you will be working on.
Do you want to get better with landscape photography?
Do you want to become a better portrait photographer?
Or do you want to use this vacation to finally work on your personal project?
I teach you new techniques.
We brainstorm about concepts and how to develop them.
I show you inspiring images and I explain how you can make them too.
I teach you all my tips and tricks.
I tell you how to edit your images.
I am the one to check all your questions with during this week.
We do fun exercises, go out on nature trips and my goal is to pass on my knowledge while you relax and have a good time!
Each day, we evaluate the results with the group so everyone give feedback and can learn from each other.
A random day:
8AM - Breakfast
9AM - 10AM - Evaluation moment of the previous day
10AM - 12.30PM - Time to make some pictures!
12.30PM - 2PM - Lunch and free time
2PM - 5PM - Workshop portrait photography
5PM - 7.30PM - Free time
7.30PM - Dinner

In between the photography sessions there is time to relax in the beautiful garden, to stroll around in the picturesque villages in the neighbourhood or to discover the region on your own. With or without a camera.
“In the end, you’re on vacation!”
We share meals and evenings with a nice dinner, a barbecue at the covered terrace, a movie in our private movie theatre, boardgames or an evening stroll!
By the end of the week, you will be relaxed and will go home with a lot of extra knowledge and a memory card full of beautiful images.
Where?
In a tiny village, called Saleich in the Haute Garonne in France.
Toulouse is one hour away and we overlook the summits of the Pyrenees.
A charming, renovated farm with a gorgeous garden is our homebase, decor, inspiration and workspace.

What’s included?
6 nights.
Organic breakfast, lunch and dinner, including one barbecue. Vegetarians are also looked after and we also take allergies into account.
A trip in the region.
Daily evaluation moment and an evening event (movie, boardgames, karaoke,…)
We will pick you up in Toulouse or Boussens and also bring you back, or we put you in contact with other participants to carpool.
What’s not included?
Transportation to and from the house (you can drive by car to Saleich, fly with Ryanair/SN Brussels,... or come by TGV via Toulouse).
Snacks
Alcoholic beverages outside meals (this can be provided at an extra cost).
Photography equipment. Of course, you will bring your own gear.
Personal travel insurance and camera gear insurance.

The number of participants is minimum 4 and maximum 8. Studio Monté reserves the right at all times to cancel a course if there are insufficient registrations or if the teacher is unable to attend due to illness or force majeure. In such a case, the fee will be fully refunded, but there will be no additional compensation for the registered participants.
When do I have to pay?
You can register via the button below. We will mail you more practical information about the trip and an account number for your payment.
We expect your payment within 7 working days after your registration. Notify us if you still want to cancel. If you do not pay on time, we cannot guarantee your registration.
EXCEPTIONS:
If you register during the 14 days before the start of the workshop, we expect you to pay immediately after receiving your confirmation.
DO YOU WANT TO CANCEL?
Then the following conditions apply:
There is no cancellation fee up to 3 months before the start of the course.
If you cancel 1 month before the start, € 100 will be withheld.
You cancel less than 1 month before the start? Then the full fee will be withheld.
Tip: a cancellation insurance might be interesting.
About us
The photographer
Monica
She eats, thinks, sleeps photography.
Passionate about portraits, but she also loves abstract work, a stunning landscape, a few hours in the studio or a beautiful reportage.
Always in for an extra round of explanation, even when it’s the 37th time. Will share non-stop tips and tricks and pushes you enthusiastically to the next level.
Will come up with the craziest exercises and loves a good experiment.
Knows everything about Nikon cameras, but doesn’t mind looking at other brands too and helps you when you can’t find that setting.
Lives for the “Oh!” and “Ah!” moments.
The team
Ève, Muriel and Carmen
a.k.a The Sisters Of Saleich
Three sisters (in law) who left Belgium behind and went to create their own paradise on earth at the the foot of the Pyrenees.
Ève knows everything about cinema, African hip-hop and gets baguettes in the village on her vintage racing bike.
Muriel knows something about everything, can take you on the best hikes in the neighbourhood and is the first one to dance when a great song is playing.
And Carmen is the one who does magic with puff pastry and vegetables, she knows the most beautiful markets in the area and she’s a yogi who likes to do the sun salutation on her mat in the garden.
Together, they like to share their paradise with you and they open their house and their garden so you can enjoy all week.
Corona measures
We aim for a corona-free holiday and always take the current rules into account:
Social distancing: we work and live mostly on the terrace and in the big garden and thus take advantage of the outdoors.
Soap and alcohol gel are available for regular hand washing and disinfection of equipment.
We provide extra hygienic measures for the preparation and serving of the food.
